RIALTO BEACH, OLYMPIC NATIONAL PARK ELOPEMENT DESTINATION

A stretch of pristine coastline with towering sea stacks and tidepools

Rialto Beach is one of the most amazing coastlines you will ever see. I The lush rainforests of the Olympic coast stretch right down to the sand and the meeting of sea and forest is an awesome sight to behold. It’s easily one of my favorite places on the Olympic peninsula, but it does take a little more effort getting to. You’ll find the best area on the beach where the sea stacks and famous arch “Hole In the Wall” are to be a one mile hike. But the walk down the sandy beach is undoubtedly worth it. Just make sure to check a tide chart before you go and be aware that the incoming tide does cut off the outcroppings forcing you to hike the tidal bypasses which can be grueling. I highly recommend this location if you want to have your ceremony on the Olympic Coast but want something a little more adventurous and private than more crowded beaches. Just make sure your wedding party is up for the hike!

My favorite part of eloping to Rialto Beach

Once you’ve hiked one mile down the beach to the big sea Stacks you are Technically in the wilderness so camping is allowed on the beach with a permit from the national park. Waking up to the crashing waves is nothing short of incredible and is by far one of my favorite spots to camp of all time. So for outdoorsy couples this can be an incredible way to start, or end your elopement adventure.
