The Cascades, Yosemite Ceremony Location

STUNNING WATERFALL VIEWS, THE MERCED RIVER, AND TOWERING TREES

The Cascades picnic area offers a picturesque slice of the quieter side of Yosemite. Micro weddings and elopements can be held anywhere in the picnic area as long as you are six feet from the Merced River. While a good number of people stop at The Cascades viewpoint, there’s a nearly abandoned trail that leads up closer to The Cascades. I've also found the picnic area to be lightly used.

This outdoor wedding venue in Yosemite national park is perfect for couples who want a quiet ceremony surrounded by mature pines and along the riverbank. It is easily accessible with nearby parking and bathrooms so it’s good for the whole family. Being a picnic area means there are plenty of tables around so it’s ideal for reception picnics after you say I do.
