Golden Hour First Look at Tunnel View in Yosemite

From Tunnel view to Taft point

Yosemite elopements are always brimming with incredible photo opportunities. One famous the world over is the iconic tunnel view. This scenic viewpoint right off the road is often crowded with tour busses and visitors clambering in to get their photos of the stellar views. But come here at sunrise and you’ll have the place almost to yourself. These two lovebirds decided this would be the perfect place for their first look amidst the golden light of dawn.

These two definitely melt hearts as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day and had a tear filled reunion. Then we had some fun with an awesome pose off and some super sweet moments as the sun filled the valley. We then headed down the mountain for more photo stops and eventually Chuck and Stacy’s ceremony. From there we ventured forth into the park and experienced a little bit of everything Yosemite Valley has to offer. From a little rock climbing down in the valley to a near perfect ending high atop the cliffs of Yosemite. To end this elopement adventure we hiked out to Taft Point as the sun set on the trail to make a grand finale on the cliffs none of us will never forget.
