Here’s an absolutely incredible elopement venue. In my opinion, Sentinel Dome is the ideal elopement location in Yosemite National Park if you want the most iconic images possible. It has views of Half Dome that compete with Glacier Point but with far, far fewer visitors. And that extra bit of elevation gives you clear unobstructed views of the whole Yosemite Valley. But you do have to make the hike out to the peak. It’s about a mile long hike and and there is a bit of elevation gain. The high altitude can make it feel a bit harder than you might expect. But trust me, the views and lack of crowds is worth it. If you're eloping to Yosemite, seriously consider this as your destination.

There’s an incredible loop that connects Sentinel Dome and Taft point. Between the two you’ll hike Five miles of pristine Yosemite wilderness with one incredible view after another. I’ve done this with a number of couples and its always been a hit. There’s just something about those high country cliff top views that never gets old.
