Olympic National Park is located on the aptly named Olympic Peninsula in the state Washington. This thickly forested corner of the evergreen state has quickly become one of my all-time favorite elopement destinations. If you’re struggling to decide between eloping to the forest or to the coast, this could be the perfect destination for your adventure. And there are even stunning mountains to boot!
With fog rolling across the wooded coastline, I met up with Sam and Ethan early in the morning. The stretch of rugged coastline along the western side of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula never ceases to amaze me and it is just a magical backdrop for adventurous elopement photos like this. When we arrived Ruby Beach was nearly deserted which added to the already moody atmosphere helping us to create the romantic and moody shots we had envisioned. Leaving Ruby Beach behind, we ventured into the Hoh Rainforest for their intimate ceremony in the Hall of Mosses Maple Grove. A few more stops later and we had explored some of Olympic National Parks most beautiful locations and created a collection of gorgeous photos they will cherish forever.
