My 2022 Elopement Adventures

2022 was an incredible year for elopements. Most of the covid restrictions from years past were lifted and it was easier to travel out to the parks. The rental car shortage that had become the bane of my traveling existence finally eased. And I was blessed to have an incredible group of couples to create with and even got to shoot elopements in a few new locations for me. While I had visited Death Valley and the Oregon coast before, this was my first time shooting a wedding in those locations and I must say I can’t wait to go back to both of them.

After going years without having rain on a wedding day the flood gate final broke and I had multiple rainy elopements both in Yosemite and in Olympic. But instead of ruining the day we made the rain work for us and it ended up improving the session. Besides a little rain my 2022 elopements went off without any major disruptions, no major wildfires or pandemics this year, huzzah!
